Under the tutelage of his older brother Efrain and the loving guidance of his mother Marianella, Luis honed his craft, infusing each dish with the warmth of family and the zest of innovation. Inspired by the legendary pit master Aaron Franklin and the creative genius of Chef Graham Elliot, Luis’s barbecue is more than food—it’s a narrative of resilience and a homage to the diverse influences that shaped his culinary identity. His popular saying, “A’Comer,” is not just an invitation to dine, but a call to savor life’s delicious moments. As he embarks on this new adventure at Outfit Brewing, Luis carries with him the flavors of his heritage and the spirit of the Windy City. Thursday - Saturday The Meat Papi Bowl Choice of protein served over Fragrant Latin white rice infused with Latin spices and herbs. Meat Papi’s Secret Sauce: A tantalizing blend of savory, tangy, and vibrant flavors. Venezuelan Cabbage: Crisp, shredded white and purple cabbage tossed with cilantro, carrots in a mayo based sauce. Crema Drizzle: Creamy, velvety crema to balance the bold flavors. And Papi's very own Molasses based BBQ Sweet Sauce. Papi's Nachos A twist to every bar staple, you'll get your choice of protein served over a bed of Tortilla Chips, drizzled with all three Papi Sauces. The "Jr" BBQ Sandwich Dedicated to the passing of my first puppy "Jr" he was my faithful companion in all things BBQ and Garage Hangs. You'll get a sizeable portion of Chopped Brisket or Lechon, Slaw, and Papi sauces served on a burger bun. Venezuelan Arepas Venezuelan Corn Patties stuffed with chopped Brisket or Lechon, Venezuelan Slaw, Cheese and the Papi Sauces. Limited Quantities only on Saturday! Sunday Tacos All Day Quesa-Brisket Tacos. Served with cilantro, onion, on corn tortillas.
